May 2007: The Bird's Nest

Opening Memorial Day weekend, the Bird's Nest will offer an assortment of birding supplies. The Bird's Nest is adjacent to the Earth and Hearth in a separate building by the parking lot. Stop in and take a look at the cool bird houses made by local craftsmen.

April 2007: Reopening!

It has been a long cold winter, but much has been going on at the Earth and Hearth. We will be reopening for the season on April 16, 2007. Stop in and see what we've done. You can have lunch, order a pie, take a look at the new lines of local northern Michigan products, have a cup of coffee by the new fireplace, check your email, or pick up a nice bottle of wine to have with dinner. We look forward to seeing you in April.

Interlochen Farm Market
This is exciting. We've been looking for a venue for locally produced, high quality produce and goods in the Interlochen area. We are very pleased to announce that the Interlochen Farm Market will be held at the Earth and Hearth on Sunday mornings (9:00-12:00) starting June 3, and running through September. Stop by and you will find the finest of local produce, as well as locally produced goods. Parking is available across the street in the office building lot.

This will be the third year for the event and promises to be even better than the last two. It is a fun afternoon of tasting local wines, sampling food from local providers and viewing some wonderful work by local artists. Frog Pond Village is a great venue and a good time is always had by all. We will see you there.
